Baby Update

As many of you already know...
I was placed on bed rest 4 weeks ago since I was already beginning to efface at 28 weeks! Wow, it has been an interesting few past weeks.
I received Steroid injections to help mature her lungs and I spent a short afternoon in the hospital being monitored for contractions and such. Of course, thankfully, none. But for whatever reason my body is just getting ready too early to have her. They think it could be because I got pregnant less than 2 years after Jonathan was born (since he is only 19 months now). But they are not 100%!
I now go to the doctors 2 times a week for close measurements and to make sure everything is staying the same.
My mom came out to "live" with us about 4 weeks ago. She is running my daycare for me and of course helping me with my own while Nathan works! Thank goodness for moms!!!

I will try to update if changes happen but no guarantee. They said I will continue with my restrictions and close monitoring for another 4 weeks and then they will not try to stop her if she wants to come. So as of now if we make it to AT LEAST November 9th- we are good. Of course her due date is December 7; so anything closer to that is better!

Kadence decided to look at the camera today during her ultrasound! It looks like she will have dark eyes and hair like Hailey... only time will tell!

September

Wow!~ Summer is finally over and Hailey started back to school on August 31st. She is offically in 2nd grade! So crazy how time flies by!!!! She is still attending Legacy Traditional but in their brand new location and on a huge campus that they are actually still working on; even with school in session! It is beautiful and nice to have after 2 years in portables.

Jonathan is a turkey as usual. He is total boy and into EVERYTHING!!!!! He loves rocks, dirt, digging up our backyard pavers, pulling out grass and flowers as well as getting into the refridgerator and eating fresh fruit out of the crisper drawer (That is really not a problem except he loves the grapes- that are huge and need to be cut so he doesn't choke). He loves to do art projects and he has to be busy doing things or he will find someting for himself to do (that is never a good option). The other day he stacked a tower 5 tall of blocks. That is really advanced for his age- 2 to 3 is way good for 17 months!

Kadence is still doing good and growing great! She still measures to her exact due date of December 7th! As for how I look my waist line is currently about 40 inches around at the widest point (not bad for being 27 weeks). I will be entering my 3rd trimester here within the next week or so! This pregnancy is flying by. I still have dreams that she is going to look like Jonathan with light skin and hair! We will see. Of course Hailey wants her to look like her. Enjoy the photos below of Jonathan during "school time"

Finger Painting with Sand and paint- he eventaully had to eat it too!

The only place he would sleep- run till I hit the floor and can't go anymore!

Eating ice cream as part of our School snack sampling!

Digging in the rocks in the back yard!

Family Update

For those of you that like to be updated...
Pregnancy is going great! She is a very calm baby compared to the other two (at least so far)! Her name is Kadence Hope Angel! Her nickname will be spelled Kade and pronounced like "Katie".

Hailey is enjoying her summer. She spent a week in California with my parents and then a week at home for VBS and then she went back out. She is out there now and enjoying some time with Nathan and his family and friends. They will be home this coming weekend. She also has a friend come over at least once a week to play with. She should hopefully be going back to school on August 25. We are hoping the campus will be finished!

Jonathan is a turkey as usual. He got his first "haircut" 2 weeks ago. Nathan took the buzzers to it and took his mohawk off! It is so sad since he looks so grown up now. But it is all even and it is growing very fast. He is slowly learning to sleep in his bed too! We have until the end of November to hopefully make it happen.

18 week ultrasound

Baby is doing great! It is definately a GIRL!!!! She weighs about 8 ounces now and she measures to the day on her length. Who knows how big she will be at birth then... Jonathan measured 1 week ahead in his size and he was 7.5 pounds and Hailey measured 2 times her size (obviously they really messed up there- different doctor it was in California).

Other than that- she keeps herself in a little ball in the far side of my uterus. Go figure- stretch out while you can!!!!

The 3D pictures we had done yesterday are below and you can see that she looks a lot like Jonathan!! Enjoy!

Oh and she still does not have a name... Nathan doesn't like any of the names we had originally decided on!!!!!

It's a girl!

We had our ultrasound done yesterday and found out it is another girl!!! She seems to be doing well and growing great. Here are some pictures to look at. Hopefully, next time I update she will have a name! We can't decide just yet...
She was clapping her hands during the ultrasound!

This is a 3D picture of her back and spine. The placenta is blocking
her head.
These pictures are always so scary to me. She is looking at the camera.

This is the back of her moving around!

Family Update

Well, Hailey is out of school and so far is enjoying summer. She is irritated with mom for making her read and do work pages so she keeps her brain working.

Jonathan is a turkey and has learned to throw the biggest fits on earth!!! I think he thinks he is 2. He is into everything as well. He is speaking so much now and can tell you what he wants and how he wants it!

As for the baby, it is doing well. Moving all over and heartbeat is still strong. I bought a doppler so I can hear it on a regular basis to ease any anxiety I have. We have a doctors appointment tomorrow and I am far enough along that we can see the sex if the baby will cooperate! I am dealing with an "angel" so we will see how that goes. At my last appointment they said it looked like a girl but they were going to wait to confirm it since I was only 14 weeks. So I will update later and let you all know the sex and hopefully a name (Nathan can't decide on one).

Baby update- 11 weeks

Well... I has been a really busy few weeks. i saw the specialist and he said everything was perfect and I didn't need to have any restrictions, or take my meds! He also said I was no longer labeled as high risk and a normal ultrasound at 18 weeks would be enough! That was great news to get...

The Tuesday after that I started bleeding and of course freaked out. So after spending 4 hours in the ER it was confirmed that I STILL have an internal bleed, still need to be on modified bedrest, restart all meds and the baby is perfectly healthy with a strong heart beat and busy moving!

I followed up with my doctor a week later and these are the images that were taken. Baby is measuring a bit bigger than I am (in the past baby measured to the day- now it is almost a week bigger). Baby is still doing great, heartbeat is strong, moves all the time (I feel them every now and then), bleed is still present but it is smaller than it was and my doctor believes the baby was laying on it when the specialist's tech did the ultrasound. The bleed is no longer putting the baby at risk since it is 1 cm by 1/2 cm. Even if the placenta attached over it; it will be ok since my placenta is larger than that! Huge relief. I still have a 25lb restriction, stay on all meds, no cleaning (poor Nate- he is having to do so much) and of course "Pelvic Rest" (Nathan's favorite part (clean the house and work extra hard but stay away from me!!!) Will update more as I know more... Next ultrasound in Monday June 8th!

New baby at 9 weeks.

Here are the newest pictures of the new baby. Baby is growing perfect and measures exactly where she should. Please continue to pray for the SCH that is still present. As long as it is present the baby is still at risk of being miscarried; regardless of how well it is growing or how well my labs are. I see the specialist tomorrow and will know more than.

Heart rate is 178

We have another ultrasound in 2 weeks will update more than...

Easter Activties

Hi all,
We had a really nice Easter (although I did forget to make the Ressurection Cookies with Hailey on Saturday night). I bought everything we just ran some errands and she fell alseep in the car and I forgot about them! Oops maybe next year- we make the Ressurection breakfast rolls all of the time so she has seen the end result before.
Here are some pictures of the kids looking into their baskets and Jonathan doing an Easter egg hunt at church. They had the kids divided by age and in two different areas so I could only have the camera in one. Since this is the first time Jonathan could walk I thought that the camera should be near him not Hailey. That is why their is very few pictures of Hailey during the egg hunt.
As for the pregnancy everything is still going pretty smooth. I am not feeling yucky or anything (Nathan has been lately- kind of like he was with Hailey), still taking all of my medications and we have an ultrasound on Saturday- they are doing it just for a more accurate due date. Can't see much else at this stage anyways! Will keep you all posted as time goes on. My first ultrasound with the specialist is May 7 and that one should be able to tell us lots more. Lots of prayers please!!!!
Enjoy the pictures...

Life

Well, I hate to say it but I do not have any new pictures of the kids. I have been super busy and we just have not taken any. I will try to get some this weekend of Hailey before her soccer game and of course I will get pictures at Easter.
Also, we just found out and we need lots of prayers... we are pregnant again and the baby is due the beginning of December. I am still labeled as high risk because of my past. So, they have me on all the medications again and I get to see a specialist too. I will update you all as time goes on!

Here are some pictures of Jonathan's little birthday party. We had a total of nine kids (3 were under 10 months), most of course were his buddies from daycare. He seemed to have fun and he in now down for his nap. He was very involved in everything and played along with all the other kids! We had some snacks, pinata, cake and of course presents... he didn't open them but he did like to see what he got! He was wearing his new "Party Starter" shirt from his Grandma Mona, and Grandma Elaine. He looked so cute wearing orange with his orange hair! I will have more pictures later when I get them from my girlfriend who was the "official photographer" . Thanks Angelia!

Here are some pictures of Jonathan playing with his daycare friends. He loves to be a big boy and do what they do! It kills me... I had hoped he would stay a baby for a little while longer than Hailey did!
